Copy our family friendly trip to Napa
The first thing we did when we went to Napa was follow the signs to the Visitors Bureau located in Downtown Napa. They recommended V. Sattui Winery for a picnic lunch. Perfect choice. Loved their selection of cheese and fancy lunch foods. The grounds were beautiful.
After we went to the winery, we drove out to Lake Hennessey. Nothing grand about it, but I liked walking out on the boat dock and standing in the middle of the lake. I asked my husband if he thought there would be any alligators or water moccasins around. I felt stupid the second I asked him. What can I say? I grew up on a lake in Florida. You have to look out for those kinds of animals. Seriously.

I know! When I came to visit and we went to that big park in the city the first thing I thought when I saw the lake was "I wonder if there is any aligators?" Silly, I know, but they are everywhere here. I went to Walmart the other day and next to the parking lot they have a large canal and I saw an aligator swiming it it! It's so scarey that we have man eating dinosaurs living so close to us.
I know, right!
