A few weeks ago iTunes gave away a free song by the band "Office" and I thought it was just great. Ella, my daughter, loves them too. Check out their website, I like the business lingo they use and the four songs they play on repeat.

For the most part, I find giving gifts to people really challenging. Mostly, I feel bad giving people more junk to add to their already too cluttered houses. So now, I make them iMovies of the events they invite me to. The movies are flawed, but just by adding some music and editing the entire event down to a 3 minutes, it makes for a special gift. And one that doesn't take up a lot of space, just the size of a DVD. If you don't have iMovie, just take some photos of the event and mail them a cool photo album with the pictures already in it. I found one with the girl with a pontail on ebay for 10 bucks that I thought was cute.

I love the Picture People. I have had so many cute pictures of my daughter taken there--but beware. Only go to a studio that uses digital equipment! I went to one that used standard film and it was a complete disaster. I didn't even buy one print. Go to their website and get a coupon for a free 8 by 10. They are also starting a contest soon. I love this fabric website that some other blogger suggested. I spent a good 30 minutes looking at all the fabrics and thinking of all the cool bags and skirts I could make with them. Only thing is, I have no idea how to sew. I don't even own a glue gun. But if I did, I would use this fabric to make a purse.
